Prescribing Medicinal Cannabis to Children and Young People
As part of an Honours project led by Dr Christine Hallinan in the Department of General Practice and Primary Care at the University of Melbourne, our research team is seeking Australian GPs’ and GP registrars’ perspectives on medicinal cannabis prescribing in children and young people aged ≤25 years.
You do not need to prescribe medicinal cannabis to participate. We would really value your input and want to hear from both prescribers and non-prescribers about their experiences, perspectives, and what they encounter in everyday clinical practice.
The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 7 minutes to complete.

Your perspective would make a valuable contribution to understanding this rapidly changing area of care and help inform future research, clinical guidance, professional education, and policy.
If you are able to complete the survey, we would be very grateful.
We would also greatly appreciate it if you could share the survey with GP colleagues or professional networks who may be interested.
The study has University of Melbourne Human Research Ethics Committee approval (Project ID: 35912).
For further information about the study, please see the attached Plain Language Information Statement and formal invitation letter, or contact Dr Christine Hallinan at hallinan@unimelb.edu.au.
Kind regards,
